Winter temperatures in Southeast Pennsylvania get extremely cold, and a furnace that limps through November rarely makes it through February. Countryside has spent three decades keeping heating systems running in Lebanon County and the surrounding counties, in homes and in commercial spaces.
There are two ways we work on a furnace. We fix and maintain the one you have, or we replace it when repairing has stopped making sense. Both paths start here.
Diagnosis and repair when the furnace stops keeping up, plus routine maintenance that catches small faults before they become no-heat calls in January. Regular service also extends the working life of the unit and keeps operating costs down.
Furnace RepairNew furnace installs and replacement of aging, inefficient units. Our technicians work with all furnace types, from traditional models through high-efficiency equipment, and walk you through the options before anything is ordered.
Furnace InstallationRepairs are the cheaper answer right up until they are not. These are the four indicators our technicians weigh when a homeowner asks whether it is time to replace.
Countryside offers routine maintenance on residential and commercial furnaces because it changes the economics of owning one. A serviced furnace consumes less energy to deliver the same heat, which shows up directly on the monthly bill.
If air quality is the reason you are here, our indoor air quality services cover filtration, UV, and humidity control as a dedicated system rather than a side effect of furnace service.
Contact UsA furnace is not the only way to heat a building in Eastern Pennsylvania, and when a replacement is on the table it is worth knowing what else is on it.
Boilers and radiant heat distribute heat through water rather than forced air, and many older homes in the region were built around them. Countryside repairs, maintains, and replaces boilers as well. See our boiler services.
Heat pumps heat and cool from a single system and are a practical upgrade for homes replacing an aging oil or propane furnace. See our heat pump services.
Ductless mini-splits add zoned heating and cooling to additions, finished basements, and older homes where new ductwork is not feasible. See our mini-split services.
Our technicians evaluate the furnace you have and tell you honestly whether replacing like for like is the right move for your building.

Furnaces typically have a lifespan of around 15 to 20 years. As a furnace approaches or passes that range it becomes more prone to breakdowns and less efficient at converting fuel into heat, which raises heating bills. Regular maintenance pushes a system toward the long end of that range rather than the short end.
Four things point toward replacement rather than another repair: the age of the furnace, how often it has needed work recently, a heating bill that keeps climbing without a change in usage, and uneven heating the system can no longer correct. If you are seeing several of those together, our technicians will assess the condition of the unit and give you a straight recommendation before quoting anything.
Yes. Countryside handles furnace repair, maintenance, and replacement in commercial spaces as well as homes. For rooftop units and other commercial equipment, see our commercial HVAC and plumbing services.
A maintenance visit covers cleaning or replacing air filters, inspecting and cleaning coils, and checking for leaks or blockages that hold the system back, along with a full inspection to identify problems while they are still small. The result is lower energy use, cleaner air moving through the building, and fewer surprise breakdowns.
